Now had this idea of running two large tanks into a single stand to house both tanks. One tank is Marineland 300 gallon and the other is 220 aqueon tank. But wasn't if it wise to follow this stand design I'm wanting to build.
Both tanks measure about 72' length each and roughly 36" wide. I look...
thanks for the input guys I did find a local glass shop near the area and order a panel. I am glad to report with the new panel in and reassemble the tank with euro style bracing both the bottom and top of the tank. As well as cutting the 1' inch bulkhead into a 2'. I should be up and be running...
I email a few places to get a quote for a new replacement panel. Although i do like the 300 as it is i was also considering to re-enforcement the tank from the start. I did find a place or two to get a new panel

Hhmmm....I was debating if I should add additional 20-40 lbs of Tropic Eden Reef Flakes to fill in the gaps of the Reef Sand. As for my clean up crew I might have to order larger hermit crabs, snails, and star fishes to dig in to this sand.

That what's worry me, the build up of nitrates in the tank. I think I might add another 20 lbs of Tropic Eden Reef Flakes to fill in the gaps.

Hello reef members,
I know everyone faces this problem in their aquarium. Bare spots, where sand is pushed away due to wave pumps. In my tank I have sugar fine sand and in the center of the tank all my sand is pushed out.
I purchased a 40 pounds of Caribbean Sea Reef sand, but there a lot of...
