He looks like he injured his mouth. He could have smashed into the glass or rocks. They are kind of nervous Nelly's. How big is your tank? They like a lot of room. Hopefully he will heal and be ok, but if he keeps injuring himself, you might have to take some other action.

Have you tested your mixed water? Make sure it's where it should be. If it is ok before using it for a water change, then you can probably rule it out. Are you dosing anything or using any additives?
I've had these guys for a couple of years. They are quiet and low maintenance. Trying to make some room in my tank. If you are interested, pm me.

I have these really ugly zoos all over my tank. They are out of control. I want them out but manual removal is really not an option. So I figure I will take out any zoos that I like (1 small colony) and put it in another tank. Then introduce the pest zoos to my little friend. Once they're gone...

Yeah, I have tried Sea Hairs, they do eat it, but I would need an army of the. My lawnmower blenny eats it too. He's so fat I think he will explode one of these days!
