Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
There's no inherent harm in drinking RO/DI water - it's just a waste of RO/DI water :)
It's true that it's stripped clean of even beneficial minerals, but even if you drink it every day forever and ever amen, it won't hurt you. It's just water, and you'll get more than enough of those minerals...
Yeah I had one too - that thing was GREAT actually. HOB skimmers CAN be good. Seems the AquaC Remoras are probably the best out there for that class.
Marginal: Coraffix coral glue - more expensive than most, very thin, long cure time compared to others. Best stuff I've found that's expensive...
Once things are on the mend, let me know please. The stuff you gave me is doing great, so you can certainly take 90% of each item back! As for fish, please let me replace a few for you when you are ready.
I also plan on buying you some sand. You know, to play in :)
My kids said the same thing!
Joey gave us a lot of grief for making him go to Anna's birthday party. He was so bummed when he got back and everyone had left.
Keep me posted on your weekends - we'll come down! If I can drive to Moorestown, I can hit up your place!

This is my fault actually - Taz got in touch with me on the forums, but I was on business travel for a while (I travel to europe regularly, leaving my wife scared to death having to deal with the tank herself).
Try to make it if you can. Emerson's pretty darned close. Since i always overbuy...
I apologize that it took me so long to reply. I had a smattering of work travel that kept me away from the forums for a bit - but i'm back now!
Here's a little info about me :)

My refugium is starting to look like a Martian 70's gonzo porn set was invaded by landscapers. Offering a free hunk of chaeto as I gotta manscape it into submission before it becomes self-aware.
Can hold for a few days in my overflow, but if no takers it's getting destroyed.
Wont ship, but...
Well, if it's Ich and not a bacterial infection, you have two choices to treat from everything I've researched (Warning: I'm a novice). I'm going through the Ich nightmare as we speak :) Note that once you rid your fish of Ich, the parasite is *still* in your tank - he may simply become...
Hey folks,
I'm looking to sell my two Ecotech radions. They are in like-new condition and were in use for around 3 months (I recently got some more powerful units via a group buy).
Asking $700 each, but if you find a better price somewhere I'll do my best to beat it by a significant margin...
It all makes so much sense now.
I'll try the air intake wide open. I'll dial the level to "cover" the neck (seems you can't dial it in WITHIN the neck, as the adjustment isn't fine enough, at least not on mine).
Then we'll see what happens.
Hey, Folks,
I have an SWC 180 skimmer in my 40 breeder sump (150 gal display). I have it sitting in around 7" of water and I'm not getting a terrific amount of skimmate out of it.
To tune it, first I got the water level into the "neck" of the skimmer with the water level adjustment. Then I...
