Breaking down 125 G system, selling everything

"I would not describe the 75 as display worthy. I converted it to a sump with drilled holes, Plexiglas separation walls and all." Some one should grab the 75 gallon asap. That's a steal @ $50.

    Celestial Pearl Danio/ Galaxy Rasbora

No saltwater fish or corals, but they do carry live rock which is a little strange. I think they replaced their saltwater section with freshwater nano fish and shrimp.

Black Friday Free Stuff Kendall Park NJ

Thanks Herb, it was great to see you guys again and do a little reminiscing. The 29 will make a nice QT tank that can folded up and put in a closet when not needed.

Black Friday Free Stuff Kendall Park NJ

Kind of, but I "down graded" to freshwater planted tanks and freshwater shrimp. But who knows I kept a lot of my saltwater gear. Maybe when the college tuition payments are done I'll jump back into salt.

My clowns won’t go near my nems!

That's how I got mine into a BTA. MELEV's tube slide trick is pretty cool too. But only works when you're adding them for the first time. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

My clowns won’t go near my nems!

In a tank that size you won't be able to successfully mix anemones. You could get different color morphs of BTAs though and add them. Did you try guiding them into the anemone with your hand?

It's getting to be that time of year yet again...

LOL, I thought it would have been made of dried Monocentridae fish.

Cracking sound coming from my tank????

Mantis shrimp can make a loud cracking sound. I used to hear one in my tank late at night. It sounded like someone was hitting the glass with a coin. If you have fish, shrimp and snails mysteriously disappearing with no bodies it's likely a mantis shrimp.

Reef Growth way too slow Need Advice

Get an ATO to stabilize the salinity and then keep your hands out of the tank. The constant fussing irritates corals and livestock. It took me a long time to learn only intervene when absolutely necessary.

    Paul’s 240 Gallon upgrade!

That's a good sign with the Mueller. I had a similar experience with my Copperband, after the aiptasia were gone it started to get thin so I sold it to someone that had no tangs. You could make a feeding station, it's basically a small container with holes drilled into it that only the...

    Paul’s 240 Gallon upgrade!

Peppermint shrimp and a copper band butterfly worked for me as well. Your tank is probably to big to use nudibranchs. Are you going to use the 180 for a refugium? As a side note, dont drink ro/di water it's not good for you. Some put the drinking water tank after the ro but before the di...

    ID these snails please

Nerites will climb out of the water and go for a walk. So make sure you have a screen on the top of your take or make a habit of looking around for them.
