    I think that the AquaC Remora used to be one of the best HOB skimmers, but there are quite a few better options now: Deltec MCE600 ($$$$$), Bermuda has a few, Warner Marine, etc. It all depends on how much money you are willing to spend. Doesn't everything?

    Thanks for the advice. I passed it on, but he already bought a Ushio 14,000k. Hopefully he will be happy with that. I think I will try the Reeflux next time. All the reviews I read are very positive. Moderator- please remove the post.

    Looking for a good 150W HQI bulb

    Any opinions on who makes the best 14,000k 150W HQI bulbs? I am looking to buy one for a friend. He likes the blue end of the spectrum, but not as blue as the 20,000k. Also- any information on the best place to buy one... Thanks a lot!
