It's incredible, for a large fish you can find them hidden in the smallest places. Mine curls up under a rock when startled. It freaked me out the first time he did it. I thought I lost him :)

Have you tried looking up a petsitter? We've got a women who takes care of our dogs, cats and fish when we go out of town.

This is pretty good ... thanks. I actually had a Moorish Idol who did great in my tank for years. Then I introduced this tiny maroon clown who badgered him and killed him overnight. I couldn't believe it. The Idol was beautiful, but I don't know if I'll try one again.

That's a bummer about the store. I wish I would have caught that sale though >:(

I've had bad experiences with their fish and their equipment is overpriced. The staff at my local store (Woodlane) is pretty helpful though.

I'm glad that Hidden Reef has reopened. My only beef with them is their rewards card. I spend a lot at the fish store, but you've got to spend thousands to get any use out of that card.

Aquarium Center is my go-to store. I've never had an issue with the staff and the prices are reasonable.

I agree with moving the rocks around in the tank. I've got a yellow tang who had the same issue. Loved to hit fish in the face with his tail. The rock switch helped.

You gonna get a clown for it? Nothing is happier than a clown and him anenome ;D

That's a heck of a price tag though. Think about what you could by for your existing tank with that cash ;)
