Yes, first time getting wet and yes to clamps. I had one of those plastic clamps on the hose on the pump...apparently not tight enough. Is there a better hose clamp to use? I would assume the metal ones are not a good way to go in the water.

Just as the title states. Thankfully I wasn't feeling well this morning and took my time getting ready to leave for work, went downstairs and heard something coming from the basement. I flew downstairs to see my carpet soaked and water shooting up out of my sump. I'm assuming a snail got stuck...

I've read somewhere it is, I've been feeding for about a month and a half and mine seems happy. I've also read people feed them silversides (didn't read through the whole thread yet) but that is what I was going to feed mine when I run out of Shrimp. I picked up 4-5 and each one lasts me about...

I picked up a few uncooked shrimp from the grocery store and cut a piece off 1-2 times a week, completely thaw in tank water and feed him that. My anemone sucks it right up.

I would love that! I can't even get my clowns to host in my nem. They get close to it but won't touch it.

I hope to hear everything is going well. I'll be doing this soon myself as we are looking for a new place.

I'd say he's probably about 4". He was fine with the clowns. He just didn't seem to like the copper banded and I read that if a copper banded is stressed like that they can die. I didn't want to take that chance. He did nip my zoas and green polyps though. Everything else he left alone.
