Let the cycle (and fun) begin!

Ok bottle trick success on the wrasse, 30 minutes and that guy was in. Gramma, not a chance, non interest and way to quick to net. Cherub same as gramma. Falcon, trapped, he was so curious he Sat in my acclimation box and I just shut the lid. So 2 more into the display, gotta find a game...

Oh the bottle trick looks interesting, think I saw videos on yt and just thought that was legit fishing. I may start there and hopefully get the wrasse/gramma. Idk if that would work on the bigger fish. Ty for them offer, well see if i need to take you up on that, where located.

Let the cycle (and fun) begin!

Stocking strategy, please give me thoughts…advice, recco for substitutions or avoidances. Especially thoughts on when I can add my current remaining healthy stock (6line,royal gramma, cherub angel and falco hawkfish) vs what I think is propper addition path below based on research and others...

Let the cycle (and fun) begin!

Separate question. Anyone have a favorite fish trap? Clowns were easy. Now I have a six line, royal gramma, falco hawk and a blue dwarf angel to catch in my other tanks. Then I was planning to use the two 32 bio cube tanks as qt as I add more fish overtime but try to keep the rock/coral as is...

Radiata thanks, I’m very happy with the rock after a few weeks. Was worried it’s too much, going to get creative with wave makers and flow patterns, idk. Would love to do gsp across the entire back wall. Did pulsing xenia on one which was cool. Taking my time but agree lots of hide outs to help...

Thanks for the advice. With nothing to eat thought that may even be too much, good to know.

Let the cycle (and fun) begin!

Good call, I currently have 1 tiny blue leg in that I accidentally grabbed while netting a clown. Prob not gonna cover it lol. Any reccos for this size and stage? Was thinking below but feels a bit heavy? But ugly stage will come in like a wrecking ball I’m sure. 5 Red hermits 5 Blue...

Let the cycle (and fun) begin!

Thanks all, I was debating on removing the top layer of rock but I then started making more coves and ledges to Curt’s point just a lot more spots for fish to dive in and out and hang out, so I think I’m kinda digging it. I ordered 100lbs but think the brs guys were extra generous. So flows...

Let the cycle (and fun) begin!

Thanks all, I’m very excited to start this next adventure. Vlad do you think i should dial back the rock??? I kept going back and forth, there are tons of caves and shelves but the 18” depth is a bit challenging so not maybe quite as much front on space but have some good front swim lanes for...

    Mixing stations / ATO

Ok yea this was my thought. How do I keep each tank from overflowing, is there a float switch that can simply hang into pump chamber like a regular ato to close line so that would stop a line if that chamber was full as the main pump try’s to push to all? Sorry maybe an easy concept I just...
