Hi just getting back into the hobby after years away, I've got a 15 gallon acrylic tank running about 3 months now, it's a nice all in one but has too many scratches for a nice display tank so I'm looking to get something like the Fluval 13.5 as display and use this as a sump/fuge for it...

Tank sprung a leak so I need a new tank in the AM. 10 or 20h just needs to be 20 " long for my lights. I'm in Bradley Beach can meetup tomorrow morning.

Thanks but this tanks is loaded with rock and corals I dont think it would all fit in a 5. Its definitely a slow leak. gonna have to put everything in rubbermaid tub until I can get a new tank tomorrow morning.

Did some maintenance earlier and now just noticed a leak. Does anyone have a small tank to lend out or super cheap? I'm located in Bradley Beach and would need to pick it up tonight. Might have to run to petco but their $1 gallon sale just ended :(

Just picked up 2 of those 3 gallon Glo fish tank kits (tank, hood & light, in tank filter) They were on clearance for $5 bucks. There was 5 left when I was there last night (walmart in neptune) Just figured I'd pass along the info here

been running it inside the filter for the past 3 days, so far the results are looking good. skimmer seems to be doing a fine job of skimming. I like the flow I'm getting off running this filter along with a koralia nano pump. my fish and corals all looking great. I even had a yellow clown goby...

its a 10 gallon tank I think that'd be a bit overkill. plus its kind of a rigjob and I can't afford to have any spills if sonething goes wrong with it I'd be screwed

I've hooked it up and it seems to be okay. my tank is close enough to the wall where I can place the skimmer flush against the wall and run it through the filter. needed to place some carbon pad to stop the bubbles but it seems to be working well. I'm curious if anyone knows if running a...

not using the skimmer for the water changes. was just saying I am still going to continually do small weekly water changes and occaisionly use the skimmer. I did notice that small piece of plastic that sits on the bottom of the filter, ir did concern me its a bit flimsy

just picked up a used aqua c remora. I have a aquaclear 500 on my 10 gallon tank. I'd like to hang the skimmer off the back of the filter from time to time. not going to constantly skim, doing a weekly water change. are there any issues from running a skimmer this way I should expect?
