What’s up with my return pump

I noticed that my gph went from 500 to 200 in my tank. I have cleaned my flow meter as well as my return pump and nothing.
Could it be that my pump is starting to crap out?

Have you physically checked the flow coming out as opposed to going based on flow meter?

I've read a lot about those meters not working

It’s there, but doesn’t seem as strong. I haven’t had any issues with the flow meters. Guess it’s always possible

Did you check the flow right from the pump? Snails in the return line drastically reduce flow.

I have my return sealed from the display so snails can’t get into the plumbing. My return lines in the tank are not big enough for a snail to crawl into.

Just noticed this post. Is the pump a ecotech vectra?
Mine crapped out months aftet the short 1 year warranty.
Cleaned it regularly and no crud. Switched to a Sicce, 5 year warranty.
