I mean the auto-top-off for the evaporating water. G1s came with an additional 2-3 gallon glass box that sat on top of the sump, and then a hose went to the float valve. It was gravity fed.
Yes, I do have that.

Can't catch a break.
Tank wasn't flush with back of stand so I moved it. We'll seems I screwed up the level. Guy is coming back Mon morning to re-level it.

I can't lift the tank myself....lol. I assume I shifted the shim which caused this problem.
I feel more comfortable seeing the water level in the tank.

all I am saying is, don't rely on the water. Check the stand. The tank will settle on the foam with more weight.

Think my wife is right. Added 15g more so a little over half full. I took a tape measure and went from top rim to water level. All measurements were the same.:stupid::stupid:

I will fill it all the way to the top and check. I mean you're almost there. Really drive me crazy when it's just a little bit off. Where my new 125g sits happened to be super level. Very lucky because the house is very crooked being 100 years old.
