Tank birthday and I'm a Geezer

After placing the flags, the guy in charge took our picture. I wanted the picture to put on here so I asked him how I can get the picture.
He said it will be on Facebook.

Now, I never go on Facebook, but I used to have a password. Besides that, I have a face and wrote two books so I don't need it.

I tried to go on the stupid thing just to get the picture.
I get this message. "You have been banned from Facebook for my un-ethical practices. You can not repeal this decision".

They must have me mixed up with someone else because I only went on there a couple of times, years ago, and wrote maybe one sentence.

I have this same issue on E Bay. I am banned from there for the same thing and I only went on there once many years ago to buy a camera. I paid for it and was happy.
No problems. But they banned me. No explanation just that I can't repeal the decision.
If I want something from there, I let my wife order it. I have no idea about those things, but luckily, I never need to go on Facebook or any other stupid site, as I have many, real, flesh-and-blood friends.

This Morning, it is pouring rain. No one was out, not even birds, but Vietnam Veterans don't care about rain, so I went to the beach.

(It could never rain here in the US like the Monsoons in a jungle)

I normally walk down a lot of steps, then walk west. Since we had a tough winter, much of the sand is gone, so I couldn't go too far. I walked until the surf came over my boots, then turned around before the tide came up too much, which would have forced me to swim back. The sea is now about 45 degrees, so it wouldn't be prudent at this juncture.

Fantastic beach walk this morning. I went out a little earlier today because it finally stopped raining and I was all excited and tingly.

Unfortunately, I found a dead Osprey or Sea Eagle which are endangered.

Last week I found two dead seagulls. I wrote to the EPA a couple of times, but they don't seem to care.

My tank is starting to look like it did before my invasive sponge issue. I love the look of gorgonians and they are very cheap. (here anyway)
The rock the last gorg came on is loaded with polyps, very nice. The guy had them in a dark tank so I couldn't even see the life on the rock but if I did, I would have bought just the rock without the gorgs, thats how nice it is.

Of course none of those fish were ever quarantined, dipped, medicated, observed or read to and some are 10 years old, some are 35 years old and none of my fish ever died of a communicable disease and none ever had all those "new" diseases I never heard of. But, what do I know?

So my wife comes home with this "Stress Relief Eucalyptus Body Wash". I assume it is supposed to be some kind of soap. Real soap has been made for thousands of years from fats, lye, and maybe ashes. This stuff has about 200 ingredients, and none of them are fats, lye, or ashes, and you need the Hubble telescope to read them.

It is supposed to be for "Stress Relief," but I got stressed trying to read the ingredients. It is also supposed to contain Eucalyptus, which, for some reason, is supposed to relieve stress. I don't get stressed, so I really don't need it or believe it will reduce stress if you have it. If it actually did reduce stress, I would pour it in my tank. :eek2:

And eucalyptus is about the 50th ingredient, so there may be a drop or two of the stuff in there, along with just about every other chemical or element in the periodic table of elements.

It also reads "No harsh chemicals," although I find that hard to believe, and no animal testing. Probably because they can't find an animal stupid enough to use the stuff.

I use bar soap with like 3 or 4 ingredients, and I get clean enough, and I smell Manly like new cro bars and not a funeral procession. :confused2:

Well said. In addition such stuff typically has a high price, so I'd say shop around first. They might be a generic that costs half the price.

As for adding it to my reef tank, considering how may other additives are available for reef tanks, this one might not be too much different.

My dog has a sensitive stomach. He cannot eat Milk Bone dog biscuits; gets very sick. I actually made them myself with 4 ingredients; then stumbled across Old Mother Hubbard which uses similar ingredients and he is fine with it.
Dog food is even worse trying to read all the ingredients. I just started to buy sensitive stomach dog food which is very expensive. I may resort to other dog food and add some canned pumpkin to it daily.
