Green splice

I have Eric. As long as it’s actively growing it will likely develop some red. If you eventually frag off the part with red and grow from there, you will have better color blending when that ones grows larger.
Thanks for the info!!
I will pass this along to my friend!!
Thanks Rich!!

Just a matter of time. Odds are if it came from a splice colony it will eventually, just a roll of the dice
Hi John!!
It came from pieces of the ocean so I think it is a splice, the thing is will it even develop reds just like Rich’s did!!
This could be a very exciting project to follow along

Yeah I mean in its dna there’s red pigment somewhere, just random when it comes out. If it grows fast and puts out 15 branches, then you have 15x odds that red will show in one. If it barely grows and it’s a dud. It will take awhile haha. I have an all green encrustment that has a few tips coming out, one tip has the red.

The first picture was leftover encrustments on a rock from the splice I got from sbb. As you can see it was all green from when I moved my tank. The next one was after is from last night, one of the tips has a spec of red. It could grow more, or that could be all it shows. It’s roulette.
