I have had blue pulsating xenia for about a month now and it has really grown. It came on a piece of rock, and now the arms have attached onto the neighboring rocks. At some point I am going to want to get it from spreading. Can this be cut without causing damage like infection and so forth...

Mott, There is nothing wrong with your readings. And yes, The CA reactor is used to raise and lower your Ca and Alk. However it raises BOTH and not one individually. As long as your levels are all in the "normal" range you are fine. There really is no point anyway of trying to get your Ca up to...
