    DIY Filter Sock Holder!

    I am trying to come up with a design for a filter sock holder myself. The area of the sump is 17" X 14" and the pvc pipe is centered to enter the sump. The original design was over a drip plate. I am wondering if eggcrate will be strong enough to hold a filter sock if it is placed in the center...
