Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I like your Hex. :) But then again, I personally don't keep many zoos (because they don't do so well in really clean water), so I love to admire them in other people's tanks. Looking at yours makes me want to set up a nano in our bedroom, so I can keep zoos, shrooms, and other highly florescent...
Where are you located? You don't have to give me your home address, lol, but I was referring to south, central or north.
Both Aquatic Obsessions and Aqua Oceans (not a sponsor though) sell only CB ones. Not sure if either has them in stock right now. Give them a call and find out. :)
@Hayabusa. LOLOLOL
Ed, thank you so much, you have me blushing, but I have so much more to learn when it comes to camera skills. I'll be bringing it to the next meeting, that's for sure. ;)
Thanks a bunch, Bob & JR. :)
I took over 60 pictures a little while ago, but of course less than 1/3 of them are somewhat decent. :-X I mainly wanted to compare growth rate since I've added/transferred the corals.
Hopefully I'll get the comparison pics to work. Let's see.
This is the Upscales...
Thank you for all the encouraging words. :)
Greg, you crack me up!
The surgery has been pushed back a week (Nov 19 now) so that Max won't have to wait all day without food and water.
Thank you all so much for the nice comments. :)
hayabusa, I'm alternating the use of Tropic Marin BioCalcium and B-Ionic 2-part, and it's been working well so far. I try to maintain my hardness around 7-8, and my Calcium around 400-450.
Been playing around with my bulb configuration, too. ::)...
Andy,
I wanted to show you some FTS with different combinations of T5s. And also, here are 2 links of folks who use T5s only. My personal favorite is this one:

Here's a link to Iwan's tanks...
Mike,
I'm no expert, and can't help you with the majority of them. Here goes my guesses:
1 = SPS
2 = zoos
3 = Acro frag
4 = ORA green Birdnest
5 = Yellow Polyps (no kidding, I'm serious)
6 = zoos
;D
So sorry for the late reply, Mike. The day you were taking your son back, I was picking mine up. So I know you picked up that lettuce sea slug....the one that got acquainted with your PH rather quickly. Did you get anything else?
When I stopped in, they had some really nice ORA frags still...
Which fixture are you currently using, and which T5 bulb costs $35 a pop? The only bulb that I'm aware of that costs near that much is the Korallenzucht Fiji purple, but that would have been for an 80W bulb. ???
A quick slushy, huh? :o
I feel your pain, too, Mike, even though the one I "used" to have ALWAYS ended up in the filter sock. I guess it ventured into a powerhead one day, because it eventually disappeared.
Hey, at least you didn't put it IN the powerhead yourself. They are such smart...
Absolutely! Especially since I have a new camera since the last representation, and could honestly use all the help I can get. :-[ (I'll be asking Santa for a Macro lens for Christmas, too)
All my snails survived when I treated a year ago or so. Just remove shrimps and crabs. The rest will be fine. You will lose a large amount of your pod population, but if you want to give them a jumpstart when you're all done treating and have made water changes, you can buy some pods and add...
Happy Halloween to everyone! :)
Happy Anniversary Deb & Brian.
(....it's my son's 20th Birthday today, and I'll be off to PA shortly to pick him up for the weekend. ;D)
