Running an apex and following my graphs for ph I'm fluctuating from 7.8-8.0 on a normal day without dosing. ill add 100 ml which brings it up to 8.4 and it will drop back down to 8.0 within a few hours. My calcium is about 440-460 mag is a almost off the charts. Dkh 8.4 these are off hand...
I can remember when I first started with reef tanks ,testing every other day hah! Years later I probably test once a month or if something isn't looking right. I also feel you shouldn't dose anything that you are not otherwise testing
I would think that you would need to catch the fish also. As to keep the eggs aerated. My jawfish have spawned many times they are mouth brooders tho ,they would constantly spit the eggs out and move them around.
I've got several frags roughly that size of a quarter. They are red in color. Also a few small pieces of green nepthea. A frag of sps in return would be nice but not necasary
It's a constant battle with ph on my tank keeping above 7.9 I dose alk and as per the apex you can watch the ph spike 8.4 then gradually back to 7.8-7.9 within a few days ??? My test results are a mirror image of yours except my mg is about 1600ppm
