Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I've looked for one of these over the past 2 years, never too crazily, but always on a low level search.
Seems they're not the 'hip' and 'groovie' thing at the moment as the last big seller, the Vortex D-1, hasn't been available for a few years.
I asked for them in Shop Rite and it was like they...
1st is usually a filter membrane.
2nd is an activated carbon.
3rd down if the main membrane.
4th is usually an additional post (fiber based) filter or the DI (deionizing) chamber, though they're usually clear so you can see if the media is degrading.
Great deal.
$1 a gallon at petco. Pick up a 10 or 20 tall, or...
I'm using a 13 gallon tall kitchen type thing with the swingtop as my ATO for my main. About the same footprint as the 5g bucket, swingtop keeps it covered.

I'm in for a yes, but, as I already know my answer to the big debate, if you need my zoom slot I can give it up, though it would be a shame to deny you guys my pretty face.
Run-on sentences though, I'm in.
If considering long term options, I agree with Paul and Chris.
The previous owners put Trex down in 2008 and today the deck still looks like it should be in a showroom.
Composite is more expensive, but nearly zero maintenance (powerwasher blast every spring) and it'll last forever.
Here's a...
Need a kayak upgrade. But, been out of work for a few months, so I'm funding it through selling other kayaks and this guy.
(And if anyone wants to buy an Ocean Malibu 2xl tandem... ;) )
Owned for 2+ years, received as juvenile, now 3.5" - 4" nose to tail.
Fat, healthy, gets along well with others*
Eats like a tang. Weekly feeds include flake, Ocean Nutrition 1 & 2, chopped fish, nori. Is a glutton for all.
No history of illness or disease. No prophylactic treatments used.

I'd still like to do the Summer bash in Brick (central) -maybe in August instead of July if nothing is planned and no-one has claimed the month.
Depending on evolving circumstances, of course.
Paulie, great seeing you and thanks for the clean up crew.
Also nice to have bumped into Freddie and Matt while there, it was a 120 second mini-meet.
BTW currents were bad in the estuaries, too much for the kids, so we decided to head up the coast and eventually ended up at Barnaget Light...
It's me. I've seen his tanks. All those amazing pics are actually of GSP that he's glued plastic to and painted.
Its an old trick from the Allied desert units in WWII. They'd paint their tanks as high end corals to confuse Rommel.
I have the capacity to hold some of it. I've got a system I've been curing a bunch of rock in (well, curing is a 'term' its been in there for 6 months). If no-one takes you up, or if some folks want some and need more time, I can pick up a few 5g buckets on sunday, hate to see it go to dead.
Heya Paulie,
I can use a handful of those if available.
Can head down Barneget way this weekend if available and you're about.
May get some kayaking in while down there as well.
Lemme know,

I'm assuming we'd do it quarterly for initial signups?
For example, if new member signs up Jan-Mar its $20
Apr - Jun $15
Jul - Sept $10
Oct- Dec $5
Then do a $20 annual renewal on January 2nd for every year following?
Also thought - is it possible to do auto renewal fees annually with a card on...
Chris,
As said, in my 2-3 day power loss with nothing going on in the tank (no pumps, no air stones), there wasn't a single loss. I really think this 'must have flow and power every minute' thing is one of those reefing myths that inspires panic.
We black out tanks all the time, we turn on and...
