I use a maxijet 900 with good results. In my last set up I just used a cheap little rio pump. Never had an issue with either.

Nightmares or not I'm one of the guys that have them and love them. Great scavengers and it's likely the coral head they were eating was probably going downhill. I've never seen them eating healthy coral or fish.

Agreed. A sufficient fuge and good skimming and WC will in fact be just fine. I've seem it over and over. GFO is great but def not a requirement. IMO it's just one more thing we have to fall back on that helps contribute to the lack of husbandry we see so often.

Yep You just need to have it hooked up to the computer via wireless or wired. then just some set up and you can visit the app. Im not positive if the Jr is compatible with APEX Fusion but if it is then its just that much easier.

I use my phone or my computer as well. The jr will handle only 4 outlets and temp. You can add up to 4 modules for more plugs or to monitor ph and such. If I hadn't found a great deal on the apex lite I would never have sold my jr.
