    Time to switch brand

I would say the nicest part of the Hanna and I believe helps tremendously. Is the electronic eye interpreting the results. It simply has to increase the accuracy do to no auto white balance like the human eye

    Time to switch brand

To be clear. And not pick on red sea. All manual testing with all hobby grade test kits that rely on visual color comparison is wrought with inconsistencies. Everything effects interpretation of results from the light in the room your in. Thru timing and temperature in room. Unless you can...

@diana a That is totally reparable. Use a clamp to ensure you take any bow out of glass. Take a piece of plastic or glass the same with as cracked support and longer than 2”. Silicone over the crack and allow 48 hours before removing clamp.

    Rossmont Equipment Sale

You were correct to not use vinegar to clean the magnetic parts. It can and eventually WILL destroy it. Always use citric acid for those parts. Works as well if not better and is pretty cheap. Plus since it comes in powder form. You can adjust the strength for those real stubborn parts. Or use...
