The thread is gone!
I didn't see it, but am guessing it was a "for sale" thread for a chalice that the seller was claiming was Jersey Devil. I'm now also guessing that one of the interested parties notified R2R of copyright infringement and that is why it was pulled. Again, this is all...
Phosphate is not coming from the five gallon water jug. Most (if not all) water jugs are made of polycarbonate...that will not leach phosphate. Now BPA is another story. :o
I cannot say with 100% assurance, but the likelihood is that this Vaprorizer is just fine. To the best of the knowledge there is one US producer of calcium chloride (and the world's largest producer I believe) and that is Occidental (also known as OXY or OxyChem). This information matches...
Whew! All is well in Calcium Chloride Land!
I am confident the "new" Prestone Driveway Heat is the same Driveway Heat I've been using since 2008 or 9. I will provide detail.
I was at first bothered by the product discription the Driveway Heat link above provided....mentioning other stuff...
No. There will be some water associated with the calcium chloride and a pinch of "extraneous" stuff.
I'm looking up MSDS's right now........I'll be back momentarily.
Well I'm a little concerned. The name is right...Prestone Driveway Heat......but the description is wrong. It says that this contains calcium chloride, potassium chloride, water, sodium and calcium bromide. That is NOT what is says on the bag of Driveway Heat I purchased......it just says...
If you're sold on Vortech, I'd go with one MP40 over two MP10's. I would think the MP10's would have to be run close to wide open, and I believe this causes them to eat their bearing that much quicker. The MP40 will be cranked back a bit and save the bearings. If you do end up with some...
I've actually found pictures of the divider in the tank. It simply friction fit into place.
And to cover up the pipe, I took a piece of latice and stained and varnished it to match the canopy and stand. It was stuck to the glass with sticky-tack.
Here are some pictures to show detail. If you are up in the area, this thing is yours if you want it. I believe the cross pieces are not glued, so they could easily be cut down. I also had to used two of those screen things and ran a thread in-and-out of the matched screens to hold it...

Kyle, I'm late to the party and see that you've made a decision. Anyway you are still getting my two cents. When I had a freshwater 75 and had to split it because of aggressive fish, I first made a frame out of CPVC pipe and attached that thick screen material they use to do (I think)...
Hold on! Anthony and Terri purchased a new tank.......time to change my underware!!!
You guys buy more tanks more frequently than I change my underware!
Congratulations.....for the moment.....because before long you'll be doing it again!
Keep the pictures coming.....I want to see it all.
Edwin, I’m disgusted with the East Brunswick store. They use to carry an unroasted nori. About 6 – 8 months ago they redid the store and reduced the amount of nori they carry. I was in there before Christmas and it was pretty poor on choices. I ended up buying nori in an Oriental store...
