sure do! and that's why my diatoms are starting to be history.. i just needed to keep the water level in that section stable so once i set it up there were no more adjustments needed. I'm going to order a auto top off system and use my spare 10 gal tank just for that.

A little update.. there's about 100lbs of Rock ~maybe~ in there. I'm still in a Diatom outbreak but it is starting to subside. Most of the Rock Is FIJI at this point. now for a FTS my two baby hippos the sailfin was being camera shy

im using a 75RR for a sump on the 220. currently the Skimmer, 2 2" drains are in the first section. Then I have a 10" overflow to keep the skimmer in 10" of water. I then have the Refuge. Now, I did have a Underflow Then a 10" overflow right where the RR Overflow starts. Am i doing something...

at the moment there is 2 hippos 1 sailfin and soon 2 yellow tangs. I know some anthias and mandarins are going in, a Midas blenny or pair, a watchman goby of somesort.. I dunno about a pistol shrimp since i see what they are doing to the 55. this is a partial stocking list for that tank after...

ok. I originally expected this but figured i would ask. we're just waiting for the hippos to get a little bigger they were 3/4" when we got them and they are a little over 1" now. They sure do grow fast! :)

Both being Zebrasoma's, do you think that there will be issues housing a pair of yellow tangs started out as juveniles 1" or so with a Sailfin ? We already Have two 1" hippos. I know there is problems within the same genus sometimes. I'm slightly confused/worried at the moment

I'm at a crossroad and i don't know which way to go.. My choices are use the Mag 18 I have and buy another one and then plumb one pump to each side OR buy a Mag 24 or bigger and power both sides from one pump.. what do you think?

glue and unglued threaded i can put some Teflon tape.. it doesn't matter all the plumbing is a mess and is not glued for the returns till i get the other mag.. The mag18 running for the right side return is a beast and lotsa flow

lol yea.. except all the threads are closed on RC. noone could keep on topic. It's been running overnight and is doing pretty good i have to make a base for it to sit out of the water a little more. getting it in the 75 was a PITA i had to drain the sump and then almost tilt it on it's side...

i drip acclimated the two hippos and the cleaner shrimp for th ebig tank and used the seachem anti stress.. let them go for an hour or so and in they went.. no problems so far.

or Mexican Turbo snail. but they are pretty big and knock things over
