The coverage will depend on aquascaping. I have 6 AI Sol blue on a 96X30 tank. The lights are 22 inch from the water surface.
The tank is very bright and I am not running 100%. The Sol Blue are very very bright fixtures.
I would say get one and raise is 18 inches and you will be fine.

Darren also thinks the same, however as I said earlier, this one has a very prominent line across the whole body, unlike the one in the pic you posted.
The one in your pic only has small line underlining the face.
Well, we will see if this one grows that large antenna like a Lyretail...

I am running W/B/RB as 80/85/100. I like the blueish look better.
The lights start at 5% and ramp up to 80/85/100 in 4 hours and stay as such for 7 hours a day.

I get the hint. However, Irene was not so kind to my home :(. My basement was flooded and there is a lot of cleanup needed.
This is not a good month for me to host a meeting ...
Hello everyone. I finally got sometime to start this thread again. It has been a busy last 2 months for me.
First things first, the tank survived Irene. I was out of the country when Irene hit and was keeping my fingers crossed.
Today also marks the official 5 month anniversary for the tank...
The clove rock is large (8 inches or so). The cloves cover around half of it. - $35
The anemone is 6 inches when open (Tan, some purple) - $45
No picks at this time.
Pickup only in Monroe, NJ.
Thanks guys. Yes the carpet was in my tank for 2 months. Then it went down hill :(. I removed it after it started getting all stringy :'(

Shutter speed 1/30
Aperture f/8.0

T5 have a very high output. In my opinion running them as moon lights is ruled out. I only use t5 in my tank and have moonlight as well.
I cannot answer if you van use t5 with MH in a fixture.

I have read and that the fish poop makes the corals color more intense. I would not think the poop to be such a bad idea. My fish are not fat nor thin. However since I started the new feeding regime, once a day, I think my corals look nicer. But agreed, I also started seeing cyano :o
Algae MUST form a part of the diet for tangs. If they are not eating it then they are getting enough from your rocks. If that is not true then it will show on the fish health.
