you can take the clam out and scrub it out of water then rinse it it some tank water outside the tank of course and put it back in. however if its attached to something don't dislodge it

what would be a too high reading for magnesium? I tested today at 1140 ppm added esv mag. and put too much in. normally it takes alot to bring it up but not this time. it's at 1470 is this a major problem? should I do immediate water change or just let it go back down

I would think if you can run one bigger one you would not only save time with maintenance but also save on electricity
