Rustoleum or krylon
prep using rubbing alchahol not glass cleaner it leaves a film and paint will peel.
But be advised no matter what paint you use in time it will peel off the glass due to salt creep.
I just use a new sponge on a bubbler filter and take water from the main tank, this is a good excuse for a water change.I have had no problems holding fish this way for 3-4 weeks.
I added caribsea agri-alive to my twin fuges and now have a very large pod population, you can also get live rock rubble from:macro-algae.com fully cured for fuges.
Watch the spines on the base,my seemed that when they started to lets say relax a little it was that next morning I woke up to an awful mess.
My tank looked like coffee and the coral had melted and that was a 135 at the time.
Had one many years ago,
reef safe but they tend to melt down after a short time in captivity.
The base feels almost like thorns flattened out if I remember correctly, the base is what melted on me first.
Does the base match my disciption?
I would leave the Xenia on the bottom, they grow so fast that in no time they're growing on the glass and to remove them makes a mess. They tear apart spewing ugly milky goo.
I didn't know they were still open.
If it's the same owners as when I was there about 15 years ago they wern't the best back then either.(deals that is)
