Looking for initial help on physically setting up a reef tank

I’m maybe 1.5 hours from mount laurel. And am not opposed to physically helping you Cary the tank. I’m also not opposed to drilling some holes. If four or five more people can help we can get that bugger up in no time. Could use a few more details. Like are there stairs or tight openings...

Definitely benefits and troubles each way. Personally I like sand for its looks as well as how other creatures use it. Yes sometimes it’s a pain but for me. I like it

    Vermetids?

I just read that bumble bee snails eat them as well but there is some risk with them eating zoas. However if you are a heavy handed feeder. As I am. That would not be an issue as apparently they only eat zoas if food is not available If anyone else has experience with them. I’d love to hear it

    Vermetids?

Looks like vermetids to me. I have them as well. And yes often they have a large snail like swirl at the base. But not always. I have not yet found away to get rid of them.

    Help to identify

We recently found two of the following animals in our tank. I personally think they are rock anemones. They are very small, between the size of a dime and a nickel when fully expanded. And disappear at night. Has anyone seen anything similar

    Help Seeding tank pods

Perhaps @Wilson will chime in myself and @nano1908 got some that wilson arranged. They were huge and very much alive. They were so big when I dropped one of the sponges they were on I was quite literally picking them up with my fingers. I mean scary big. But as @diana a said. YOU MUST FEED THEM...

    Calcium & alkalinity supplementation

I don’t know about a single solution but I like my pinpoint ph controller. Right now I just use it as a monitor. But I am happy that I can use it as a controller when I am ready. As far as temp I use an inkbird but it’s fairly strait forward. Doesn’t send any messages. Just let’s me see the temp...
