"Splain Lucy" ;)
Can you explain why this is such a no-no? I'm not argueing, just seeking info because as a beginner, I dont want to make too many mistakes. The mixing seems to be working fine for this guy.
Thanks for that. Beautiful tank. It makes me feel better for not having all that extra stuff on my tank. I do have a canister filter though. A buddy of mine has been running his 120 without any outside filtration, reactors, skimmers or refugium for the last 8 years and his tank is thriving...
Sorry for the hijack but I have a simillar question.
What if it's the first BTA with no other corals present? I too was looking to get one for my clown and also have a 55. But my 55 also isnt packed with rock.
Here are some pics of what is going on.
Mator who loves the camera.. His fin was like that when I got him.
Bell....our Coral Beauty that wouldnt sit still for the cam..
Jamal..our Niger Trigger who definitly doesnt like cameras..
You know what? I did so much looking into it that I probably confused the two. Am i still feeding too much then?
I give them 1 thawed cube of either mysis or furmula B a day.
I'm pretty much posting this as a lesson learned by me and hopefully prevent others from making the same mistake.
Well, even after knowing better, I managed to cause a minor cyano outbreak due to overfeeding. I didnt really see the start of it due to the crappy lighting I had. Every time...
Ok, I received the unit yesterday but cant seem to get the timers down. Does anybody have any experience with the Current USA's units that have the built in timers?
Hello all..
As i am about to get a halfway decent t5 set-up (on its way), I am curious about those of you that use t5's and your light times. If you can, list how your timers are set for your lights and reasons or give recommendations.
Thanks
Ok, I just got back from a very well deserved vacation in Myrtle Beach and found that my fish were very well cared for while I was gone. Being gone only a week and a half and the trigger looks a tad bigger. Anyways, I am ready to upgrade my temporary bobo light set-up (rigged 2 flourecents and...
The starfish is not green. It's black. No worries?
Yes, I love my mag float. ;D Kids come over and think its the coolest thing and ask if they can move it across my tank. I never turn them down. haha
As for the Cuc... Any one in partucular I should look for?
Hmmm...some sacrificial snails.
I would like to put some sort of clean up crew in my tank. The problem is that I have a Niger Trigger that I know loves to snack on snails, crabs, shrimp and such. Sure enough took care of my emeralds that I have not seen since I put him in the tank. Is there such a thing as a safe cleanup crew...
Funny you said that.. I JUST called not even 10 minutes ago to let them know and the guy was like. "How do you know they arent Chromis??" The normal guy that I deal with there wasnt in today. I did my part. By any chance, can anybody find ANY store, online or not, that sells Staghorn Damsels...
Wish there was a way to edit so I didnt have to double post. Unless I am overlooking.
Anyways, I think I found the identity of these fish.
