I measured and the top of the mp40 is at 8inches from the water surface. Should the bottom or top be at 8inches? Thanks for the info Sunny.

Okay, my setup before: I had the mp10 middle and to the back of the tank I had the mp40 same place just higher up I'm battling hair algae and cyano.. New setup: Sorry for my terrible photos.. but should get the point across. anti-sync Mp10 80% reef crest (to the front and higher up)...

This is my old schedule: used to run 8am-1030pm Now I have 2 radions.. and I just cut down the time today from 1130am to 930pm. Been getting tons of cyano. It only hits about 60% max

It amazes me how fast it comes back out as soon as the lights go on. I cut the hours real short today.. lights go back on and within 15mins it starts to spread like crazy again. I don't think it's cyano because of dosed the chemiclean. Really really aggravating !

I should be home by 615pm.

lol, well it disappears when the lights are off. It comes back on shortly after the lights are turned back on.

it's been a little over 36hrs since I did the treatment. I don't really see much of a difference. My sand bed is still covered. Maybe it is dino's?
