I've got a fuge running that breeds amphipods like crazy. Some of them are big enough to be seen moving from a few feet away, 1/8" - 3/16", even have a few that may be 1/4". Possible its simply that? Or maybe a baby Bobbit worm?

Best bet is to start with a small CuC (clean up crew). CuCs are made up of, usually, hermit crabs and/or snails. Hermits scour the rock and sand eating detritus, and may nip corals occasionally. Snails work the sand and the glass and leave corals alone. A mix of the two won't work long term as...

How bigs the Red Sea? I'm assuming it has a sump. You really cant have a skimmer thats too large, its one of the few instances that bigger is usually better.

If we're doing a coral auction/trade the cube with the heater would be a good thing. No need for RODI in it, the frags should be well sealed (or they can be clipped to the edge of the tank. Guess the big question is - are we doing an auction? If so, do we have a vendor and picker-upper?
