Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I was saving that for tomorrow which is now today, but I'm out of diet coke!
Anyway, today's menu will consit primarily of Guiness Extra Stoudt, Tullamore Dew or Jameson's. ;D Maybe some Smithwicks or Harp as well. Happy Patty's Day!!
Llama Lore Continues! 8)
Llama spit is considered a cornerstone of successful reefing. It has many magical properties.
When combined with Vodka and dosed periodically you can keep an 8" bed of crushed coral in a tank indefinitely and no nitrates or phosphates will accumulate.
Added to mysis...
:) Ancient tradition holds that the Llama was a creature born of the Great Unspoiled Reef. The Unspoiled Reef was a creation so perfect, so beautiful, that nothing could make it better.
The Llama evolved from the Unspoiled Reef so that it's beauty could be spread upon the land. It is believed...
Every reefer needs to go on a Southdown hunt once in their life! ;D

If it's a long run , I check back...
Guess the deadline was before midnight! I missed the vote, but Merv gets the glory anyway. And I already got the frags! ;D
Great job Merv, and thanks for the avatar change. BTW Merv, are you goofin' on Elvis?
Me too! Mine works, and it all comes down to how you manage the system as a whole.
I'm not about to get into a Bomber vs Shimek debate here. The important thing is if you like the look of your tank, you'll maintain it. So go with what looks good to you, Wendy.
I have a 75 gallon mixed reef lit...
