I would keep it simple. Getting black worms and keeping them alive is hard.
it’s also not necessary. You can buy this food.
I had good luck feeding this to copper band and other finicky fish.
LRS also has scallops and oysters and shrimp and you get California black worms.
From my Expirience you need to feed the copper and every day.
mysys is not good enough for long term success. Frozen clam pieces mussels are their natural diet. If you can get some frozen food with mussels it will be happier.
I use aquariummate. You have to pay but it’s loaded with coral info.
It has the name of most corals and they keep adding stuff all the time.
since I have a few tanks this also manages all my numbers.
I would get the ai blades. T5 is on its way out so I wouldn’t buy any more t5 fixture. The AI blades you can mount to the mounts you have for the radions.
I had the reef brights over my tank and I didn’t care for them...
I have a couple dosing kalk and they work great.
They are cheap enough that if they brake you can replace them.
I have one on a 20g dosing all for reef.
When you are selling a $700 light for $400 and no one in buying.!
I guess we are in a recession. Lol

I have gotten a lot of interest but no buyers.
I. Agree with your post. The biggest problem I see in this hobby is companies selling bad products. Products with very high prices but no premium.
if I test my salt right now I would get different readings from all devises and that a huge problem.
you spend 1k on reef lights and the programs...
This hobby keeps evolving . We keep having a better understanding of what keeps these corals alive. Keeping things as simple as possible is key.
coral death is part of the hobby. i Don’t change anything because a coral died.
According to dong zou high alk doesn’t kill corals.
you don’t need to lower alk at all. Red Sea proved that corals grew better in high alk.
no acclimation needed. So if your tank is healthy you should be able to go from 7 alk to 12 alk with no loss. The coral will consume what the need and...
