    star fish trouble

I had a red linka for the better part of 18 months*. About 6 months ago two of it's 'arms' began to recede a bit, much like the arm on the bottom left of yours. Though well fed with various foods, and apparently eating, it appeared to be slowly starving. 4 months back it crawled into the...

    NJRC T-SHIRT ORDERS

LOL, no dice guys. I'm a victim of my own bad math. Thanks though. Just wanted to throw the info out there as there wouldn't be a donation to the club on residuals and I wanted to give full details on where the money went. Not a big deal, I've got it covered.

    "Mulm" in a reef tank

I've always felt a bit guilty about the 'mulm' left behind when upgrading tanks or sumps. My current corner overflow is a pineapple forest.

    Palytoxin poisoning case reports

Working with softies I don't use gloves. I've been in situations where I've put pressure on a zoa, without gloves, and its released. It's happened 2 or 3 times now. Regardless, hands move out of tank and I'm conscious to never touch face, straight to sink and wash with warm water and soap...

I use them myself and have 2 of the 26 units about 7" above the waterline on a 90. Im getting great growth and good color. I rented a par meter a few months back and made some extremely detailed diagrams of par levels at different settings. If you like , I can post the charts along with my...

    Mean clownfish

^ +1 Remove her, re-arrange the rock, add the new fish, put her back in at night. She will not recognize the territory and, usually, will accept the new fish as it re-establishes. If it does not work you can supply the other fish with very tiny switchblades.

Hows this for a &*^% week?

Tap dancin' and whistlin'. Cheers guys. Just blowing off steam. I'm (Was) running a ReefKeeper Lite. I'm unsure if its the controller or the strip causing the errors, but its an older system. Was considering upgrading to the bigger leagues but will probably just get a new RKL with the coupon...

Hows this for a &*^% week?

Last Sunday my Reefkeeper gave up. Slew of errors, reset all, troubleshooted, etc. No dice. So been doing things manually. Coupon came from BRS, figured I'd buy a new one. Expensive but needed. Brought Jeep to my mechanic Wednesday. Cylinder head is cracked. At least $1200 repair if I don't...
