i moved the rock just now and i found a couple things on the rock. i found something that looks like a feather duster. i also found something that may be a clam. it kind of looks like the mouth of a monkey with some hair on it??? i will try t take some pics
it is the white tube looking thing coming out of my rock. it looks like it has a small hole in the tip. it doesnt seem to move, so i dont think it is a worm
i am not sure what it is, if anything
would i be able to get a hammer coral?? my specs are a 14g biocube with 72 watts of PC lighting and good water flow
if so, would i be safer with a hammer over a rbta
is a torch coral easier to care for then a bubble tip anemone. I have read that clowns will host in a torch, and i am wondering which is easier to care for. i have a 14g biocube with 72 watts of PC lighting and good water flow. I am not ready to buy either because i want my tank running for some...
definitely occ clown or false perc. you can count the spines on the dorsal fin, occ have 6 percs have 5.
plus the area around the eye on occ are orange where percs arent
ok cool. i am going to wait a couple of months and order the mushroom pack. i called liveaquaria to see which mushrooms it would come with, but they only knew what was posted on the site...which i had read already. ::)
i figure i will start out with some small mushrooms and see how it goes...
i cured my tank with Live Rock and it is fully cured now and i have 2 tiny clown fish in it for about 1 week now.
about 3 years ago i had a really nice 29 gallon with 2 very small bta's that were very successful. i had that tank for years, and i only got rid of it because i got married and...
i want to start with this

i also want to find a tiny bta, so i a thinking i need to wait to get the mushrooms until after the bta gets settled into a spot and then put the mushrooms away from it
what do you think...
is 72 watts of lighting enough for for my 14 gallon biocube to get any high lighting corals like, say
pink cats paw

or
candy cane coral
