    That's my issue now with my current tank, I have a 90 with standard AGA stand and there's no way to get the sump out with out removing the tank first. I did see on Melev's Reef he showed how to do this it's here(halfway down the page) also he showed a second way with the second link>>>...

    I really think a 90g would work well, it's only 4 inches taller than a 75 and if you decide to go with a dsb you'll be happy you have that extra room for all the great corals you'll be filling it up with :) I also agree with the others that a 55 is just not wide enough.... By the way ;D...
