Some people complained that the PVC still spun even when secured with brackets. They could have used different ones to ensure it's secure. My biggest concern is the weight of the light. I would not want a large circumference PVC as that could look unsightly. How would I determine which size PVC...

I have seen similar with PVC. How does it stand up? The ones I saw on YouTube did not seem very sturdy or secure.

It has to look pretty per the wife. Right now I have them hanging from the ceiling but she doesn't like that.

Thanks Mike. I will call again before I order and see if I can get it the right way, not solid. If not will have to cut it and add more support if needed.

Mike, I read that review and another one where the top was solid. Then called PetCo and customer service told me it was a solid top. So won't know until I get it. Thanks for the offer.

I know it looks the same. My plan is to have the everything setup a few weeks in advance at the new place so I can just transfer the livestock over.

I am picking up a 72g bow front RR tank. I am considering this stand as I don't have time to build one. What does everyone think and how do I cut the top for the plumbing? Holes or a section large enough to see and access from underneath. I would leave a 2 or 3 inch lil so tank sits well...
