….the right size. LOL
You’re close George…it was a simple labeling change. New packaging only claimed the width of the bandage, not the length. So you can buy ¾ inch bandages or 1 inch bandages, and there is no mention of its length…..but its almost three inches.
I fully agree. The only thing worse would be to marry one! .Oh, wait……….my sympathies. :o :D
But how about false advertising? I once worked for a major adhesive bandage company that made three inch by ¾ or 1 inch wide bandages using a machine die that cut them exactly. They were...
Inches per gallon is old school…and I should know, I’m old. This was used back in the 70’s and earlier. Should not use inches to determine bioload. You can even say this about freshwater….although maybe more true with small fresh water fish. I had three good size “gold” fish in a 75 gallon...
Sir (and with an avitar like that, I use that term loosely :o), I wish to correct you and state that you are number two! :) If you go back and look at post 8, you will see some other individual used such terminology…..and I quote:
Daniel, sorry to hear about your losses. I hate loosing fish…it stinks!
With all the stories I’ve hear about people buying generators at Home Depot with Irene, and HD shipping in additional units, with people lined up to buy them, I’m thinking a lot of this units will end up being returned...
Mike, one of my interests is to go as green as I could with my tank. With this hobby, that’s difficult. I was told, and don’t know if it is true, that a 150 gpd RO unit (with dual 75gpd membranes) produces very little waste water. It supposedly runs the same water through both filters...
Just love those pictures Bax!
Glass-holes....the best. Recommend getting the cover if your lights illuminate the inside of the overflow. I actually have a spare if you want it...Free!
So far so good in Sayreville. Haven’t lost power. Pool is overflowing, three trees down (note in first picture :D), a little leaf and stick litter, and ponding of water in the yard.
Stay safe people!

It sure looks like it. Check for the usual suspects….phosphates for example…and continue with regular water changes. I actually lightly vacuumed (siphoned) out as much as possible when I had this little problem.
Wow! That was neat!
I think it was my ignorance that I just assumed it took them time to make their new home. That eel basically hit the sand and quickly “drilled” a new home. These little creatures always fascinated me once I saw them at David’s house. Nice video!
We just received a reverse call stating that the town has declared an emergency and as of 9:00PM only emergency vehicles are allowed on town roads. So no one is welcome in Sayreville tonight.
Phil, don’t be impressed yet. I never said I’d eat that fish bait! :D
For those on barrier islands or low-lying areas, HERE’s a link to the tide tables….you can pick your area of NJ. Again, I think the biggest problems are going to be the flooding and listening to the incessant news reports about our doom.
+1 on IceCap LED strips. I use them as first lights on, last lights off....they are more of a moonlight then supplemental. If I leave them on with my T5's, don't even know they are on....what Taz said, washed out.
No! I think it’s a money-hungry “ambulance chasing” law firm looking to rake in the cash from a class action suit. That “ad” is to put together a list of owners who they will say will benefit from this suit. If successful, they (the owners) will get scratch, while the firm will walk away with...
No client needed….short of looking for a class action by asking owners to chime in. Unfortunately the only “winner” will be this law firm. How does it go…."They descended from worms and evolved in to firms, that’s a lawyer!"
