Yeah, alk and calc work kind of like a seasaw. Bringing up alk will bring down calc.

Unfortunately not, we decided to go with more angels and I think the clam became a casualty of that. It looked really good for a while and then slowly started to recede until it died. I know a lot can go wrong with them so we are going to stay away while we have more angels.

We do, honestly not much in there. Need to replace the light so it has been running at 30%. Shrooms and chalices love it but not much else.

They did not. We kept looking for it and then had to ask a few members of the staff as they had no idea what we were talking about. We googled it and realized the fish was there 10 years ago so not shocked it is no longer there

We are out in Hawaii so we took a drive over to the Waikiki aquarium. Small and on the beach, maybe you spend about an hour there. However they have some of the best reef tanks I have ever seen in a pan aquarium so worth the little trip.
