I've been running a reef tank for 2+ years now I have come to the conclusion that there are too many things to experiment and one would always want more. Therefore I think about what I want to accomplish and give the tank 2 to 3 years to mature then it's ok to move on.

While researching angelfish I came across these: Multifasciata What a beautiful fish. A pair seems to be a good fit for a 90g tank. A little difficult to keep but you do have live food available for them. And these are supposed to be less likely to nip corals.

It seems I have accidentally cultured mysid shrimp. A 10g tank was setup with some Macros and a piece of rock from the main system. The purpose was to grow some copepods. The tank was fed occasionally with phyto and live rotifers. This morning I observed quite a few mysid shrimps in the water...

I don't have the reefbrite but looking up the price it's not cheap either. 60" XHO is $423 a piece and only 72W. To match the LED clusters in the 60" Hybrid you will need 4 of these.

I started the culture in two identical 1L bottles. Salt water is mixed with the recommended dosage of ferts. 7 days later the culture has turned emerald green. So I poured out half of one of the bottles and refilled with the same fertilized water, leaving the other bottle untouched. Two days...

Build the stand then place the stand on pieces of 2x4's at the four corners. So effectively the stand in elevated. Much easier to shim that way.
