it seems like the stock stand that I currently have is slowly degrading. It seems like all the moisture and salt creep is finally doing it's business on the stand. I am seeing a slight bend on the supports...
it will be good, just keep it trimmed. it will eventually root itself on the rocks and the only way to remove them would be cutting or pulling them out. you can use a rubberband to hold it onto the rock till it roots itself.
I don't have first hand experience with the Apex Neptune Controllers, but if you are going to spend $360 might want to look into this. I highly recommend the RKL but the Apex does offer more features down the line and heard good things! I know a lot of members here run the Apex Controllers...
