I did a little investigating on my morning walk. I wanted to get into this old barn because no one lives here any longer but I think I still could have been shot so I didn't go inside. There was no sun so they are a little Blah. The others were open.

I had some flounder for dinner last night but I think it had flukes. Does anyone know if flukes get "flukes"?

Yes I am. There's nothing like the smell of napalm,,,I mean Varnish in the morning. I haven't seen my fish yet today so maybe they all croaked. :oops: Hopefully it will kill my invasive sponge. :cool:

I am building something in my workshop and my fish are "enjoying" the aroma of the varnish. :confused:

On my morning walk I go around this old church. The thing was built about 225 years ago and is in pretty good shape. I am in Awe that Home Depot sold aluminum siding then. :cool:

I got that thing from the 60s. I found an impeller that fits from something else. :)

I decided to drag out this Eheim filter that I haven't used in decades. I wanted to run NSW through it to try to remove the silicates that are very high here in the sea. The thing made a grinding noise and just didn't work. Maybe this is the problem. :confused:

Cold walk this morning. 29 degrees.

I didn't but someone did as I got it like that. There was a guy that used to sell these and I got one to replace one of my rusty motors. If it croaks I can get that exact "Quiet One" pump which are very cheap and keep the thing going. The original Vortex Diatom pump was built for fresh water...

Everyone loves dirty water dogs. I just don't want to know whats in them or how long it has been in there. :oops:

I collected 50 gallons of very cold water. The water is "scurvier" today than it usually is in the winter when it is normally crystal clear but we had a huge storm here a couple of days ago. The water is probably full of nitrates from all the golf courses we have here so I may get an algae...

Today is almost 60 degrees which is unheard of for this time of the year so naturally I collected some water here. The water is 45 degrees and the salinity is 0.019 so I can keep kissing gouramies. :p Now I have to remove the silica or my sponge will cover my house.

I had eyelid surgery a couple of weeks ago and it is all healed. It didn't turn out exactly as I had wanted because I asked the plastic surgeon to make my lower eyelid look like Brad Pitt s eyelid but I think it looks more like his older brother. Arm Pitt. :oops:

This morning I made my wife apple/crapes for breakfast. :)

This is posted in the bathroom at my wife's PT place. I am glad they feel they need to post this but I don't do it this way. I like to wet my hands, then dry them, then then add the soap and walk away. I just don't know why I am sticky for the rest of the day. :flushed-face:
