Got-R-Fixed...thanks Pan. It appears one of the bulbs was slightly twisted, not making contact. Whew!

Just transferred from the 46g bowfront to the new 90g tank and moved the lights over. Lights were working fine on the 46. The lights are a retrofit IceCap 660 running four, 4 foot t-5’s. When we go to turn on the lights, they come on for a split second and then go off. What’s wrong?

Zoysia does just fine in NJ…if you want that look. It will overgrow almost anything…and yes, it dies back on the first frost, turning tan/brown. One word of caution, it is a broad leaf grass and weed killers, like weed-be-gone (sp?), will kill Zoysia as well.

The foam is either polystyrene, polyurethane, polyisocyanurate or a mixture of these. If it comes in a can, the likelihood are the last two, and most likely just polyurethane. There is a gas that gets entrapped in the closed cells or the foam that will outgas over time, but the release is sooooo...

Here's something similar, but it is an in-sump pump. Note the tee comes off the return line and returns excess flow to the refugium on the right. Out of view is the valve at the end of that perpendicular line. Hope this clears it up:
