I have a 6 inch vlamingi tang starting to get his streamers and he needs a bigger tank. catching him with a net would be impossible but he eats everything so a trap would be good but i dont have one. so if anyone have one and a large tank and wants a vlamingi if we can get him out hes urs.
i would get some emerald crabs if you need them- for bubble algae, brown waffer algae. dead fish stuck behind a rock lol- fun to watch but they like to steal food from lps.
well leaving it in pitch black should kill off any algea then make fresh salt water - liek 3 buckets worth or it and dump it in one bucket mix it, then drain the dirty water then throw the sand in bucket 2(clean saltwater)mix it, dump out bad water then into bucket 3(more clean water) should...
give the clowns some time. my perculas never wanted to go near the long tentacle anemone which was a super giant then outta no where 5 months later they wouldnt let any fish crab shrimp near the thing : /
its definitely the nicest looking clownfish in my opinion. ranks up at the top with the true perculas and the best looking picassos. Just wish they were nice temperamental fish and cheap lol
look for the fuse going to the viper alarm or where ever the power source is and unplug it? mine acts weird like if you unlock it with the alarm box the alarm will go off so i just unplugged it.
stuck your hand on some worms lol, soaking the tiny white strands in vinegar will burn them out, nothing really bad comes form it unless your allergic or something idk
Yeah somehow thermometers are inaccurate idk how thats possible. I have 3 glass thermometers with the mercury stuff in ice water only 1 went to 32 the other went to 34 and the other drooped way below 32 somehow and it wasn't sitting on an ice cube this was weird.
bax and other people reading this thread, how do you check your tanks temp? I have 3 thermometers that float an all 3 are different then i have a coralife digital. I bought a new heater today one that uses a pro and i have it set at 79 and it hasn't turned on yet. so im guessing somethings not...
