Wow!
That looks like a triple beam with a steel plate supported by lally columns.....that will hold a Sherman tank.
Looking good....keep the pictures coming!
I never understood how the copper floats pitted and "rusted" through. I would NOT suggest soldering the current float...for three reasons; 1. It's currently filled with gasoline, and a hot iron and gas just don't get along. 2. The weight of the solder could impact the float floating...
This talk about Ballantine sparked my interest, so I looked into it. Ballantine was sold to Falstaff, who later sold it to Pabst. Pabst made it for some time, but then stopped. In 2012 they decided to relaunch, but had to formulate the recipe. (It was as if they lost the original...
Hey, are you saying I'm an old timer? My word!
It had (or maybe still has) a mild skunky taste. That doesn't sound nice, but it was.....for old timers anyway. Dance

I just got this photo from my daughter, where she titled it, "Snowmageddon." This is the bread isle at her local grocery store. Never could understand the run on bread because of the chance of snow.
That reminds me, I need to go buy milk!
I'm thinking this DWV sanitary wye:
And if it's after the trap on the sink, you'll want to include a p-trap to make sure you don't have sewer gas coming back your way.
