Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
reefdrumz:How's your PE on the rest of your SPS?? The reason I ask is because on the left of the 3 main branches towards the bottom I think I may see a red bug(or it's dust on my monitor ;D) Just something you may want to look into, especially since the growth was so slow. IME, I've had red bugs...
This happens on many of my SPS in my tank. Although, adding sand to my tank helped this a little since the white sand plays an almost mirroring effect and shines minimal amounts of light upwards threfore somewhat coloringt he undersides. But, it is still no where near the color of the top.
I do not run Phosban, so I cannot directly comment on that. I run Rowaphos and the water is running pretty slow through it, I run a MJ 400, turned down a bit. The media is slightly turning, almost what Coffee looks like in an old fashioned coffee pot. I know you don't use Rowa, but, that gives...
I agree with many of the posters here. It is WAY too resource intensive for an avergage computer which 95% of people have. For ecample if you have a 3.2GHZ with 2 GB or ram and a 120GB HDD, Vista will run o.k, that's right, just ok. If you take that same computer and put a fresh copy of Windows...
Nice score Steve. Eric's piece is huge amd when it gets that big will look just as nice I'm sure. I'm not a big fan of the name, to me it looks more like a Christmas Monti or something like that.
Nice pics, Steve.
That Undata is real nice. My 30K grows pretty well for me, too; one of my favorites! I've seen the reverse sunset also called the Fire Engine Monti, either way, real nice stuff you got there.
To agree with the others; I use 175's along with a bunch of actinic on my 75G. It is more than enough light. If you are worried, I would look into the Iwasaki 175 15K's. They put out as much PAR as many 250's. They are the most expensive 175W bulb I've seen, but, defintely the brightest.
Good...
