ok its been awhile so i figured an update is due since the funk ive recovered the tank with some losses as noted earlier but now everythgin is running and looking great. Tank contents: two tank bred clowns, a starki damsel, candy cane coral, scroll coral, hammer coral, various polyps, yellow...

thanks, ur right ive seen some fall off and die but i see one or two more open up every day and i guess over enough time whatever does fall off should be covered by new ones.... ughhh this just makes me want a bigger more automated tank...

things are beginning to look better but not even close to how the tank was looking, i guess its just gonna tank time and water changes... oh and one more addition to the list of dead things i had a whole colony rock of bullsyeye shrooms... that melted away, really i dont think it would look so...

lesson learned unfortunately there were losses, anyone know anyplace i can find information on how to frag zoa's id like to take the "good ones" off the rock i have and try and get em on one plug...

so ive had a brief absence from the boards mostly becuase ive spiraled into a deep depression from the "disaster" my tank crashed after superbowl, i was away a few days, asked my roomate to keep an eye on it and turn the lights on and off, well he turned everythign off, so no lights, no skimmer...

hey phil thanks for pointing me towards aquatic obsessions; i had a very good experience; bought up two of those tank bred false percs; everything else in the store looked nice; the staff was good to talk to as well; ill be making return trips in the future.. thanks again

thanks killa i think this is the way im gonna go, it will be interesting to watch the whole process... next question though im sure everyone is sick of my questions by now... what are some corals that are more nocturnal that i could enjoy in the night?

so im still leaning towards a pair of clowns, just curious cuz i read something somewhere where theyll slowly kill the hammer coral if they do host it... anyone have any experience with this? also how do you sex the clowns? does it go by size?

thanks everyone number one for all the great input and number two for all the great compliments, ive scratched the cardinals off the list.. i just dont really like there appearances.. so its still down to the firefish and the clowns... i think the flame angel might not be the best idea... even...

once a week i spot feed him a few mysis shrimp... seems content, he'll cover it with his mouth and stay there for a long time then dig down into the sand for a day or so after, the second i think he ight b slowing down or seem to be starving im going to trade him off... but for now its working...

most cardinals tend to be jumpy from my understanding, ive been thinking about fish alot lately i just dunno what way to go, i thought the gramma would work out, any other suggestions? maybe a pair of clowns? or a flame angel?
