also, i was looking into building my own skimmer... i know it would cost a hell of alot less, however i dont know if it would really give me the improvement im looking for. has anyone done this? does it pay off? could i use something simple such as a maxi jet as a RC pump?

you could also raise the temp of the hospital tank by a degree or two, i heard this helps kill the litter buggers ;)

i was also looking into a euroreef rs 100 for my 75.. i wonder if its enough skimmer for the tank, total vol is about 90g. any input?

right now i only have a yellow tang.. hes aggressive but not to fish who are alot of smaller, the sixline and a hippo tang.. i had a major die off after i upgraded to a bigger tank.. i doubt the problem is my water quality, my corals have been coming back since the move.

ive been having so many problems with my tank lately.. recently i bought a clown fish and even tho my sixline was picking on him right before the lights went out i offered him food and he ate.. the next day (morning) he was fine and then when i cam home at 5 he was laying on the sand breathing...

so put them in a container with RO and put the polyps for 3 minutes. should i match up th ph and alk? maybe i should put a bit of b-ionic in there?

im pretty sure the live rock is a mixture of tonga and figi. i usaully use reef crystals but i was cheap a went with instant ocean this time. i havent tryed a frech water dip.. ill give it a shot. they have been closed for a while.

so a bag in between my baffles would be inaffective?

i only really dose one thing.. since i bought a bag of instant ocean salt i dosed a capful of Coralvite.. trace elements. i have live rock and live aragonite sand.
