    get a cleaner pac- snails are good eaters of hair algae. Also yellow tangs seem to enjoy them as well

    Treat for the hair algae right away. If you let it go too long it will gewt out of contol.

    Comes off pretty quickly. not really like a slime. If you move the sand around is dissipates pretty quickly. It was a live sand I purchased from Absolute fish.

    Have green algea, not hair algea though, popping up pretty bad after upgrade to a 100 gallon. Same rock but new sand bed. Anyone know the cause? pretty well covers sand within a day or 2

    New store in Clifton but a real good and knowledgeable owner. Dan doesn't have a large store but if you're patient and let him know what you are looking for he'll have it within a few days. Definitely worth the visit and a chat with Dr. Dan.
