I purchased a used 20g fish tank and used the glass for my sump baffles. 10-20g used tanks are cheap.

I think there will be to much flow as well as creating an escape for your critters and copods.

Filter socks are an option. quick and easy, does a great job.

I have korolia 4's and they are quiet. Power heads are much more flexible.

A canister can be a pain. You can use your wet dry without the bio balls. Use live rock instead.
