I am having severe issues this morning, just before we are going away for Christmas. My wife's Trigeminal Neuralgia came back so she can't speak or eat and is in terrible pain. I have been trying to get her pain Mgt Doctor to give her a shot but f course no one answers the phone.
She is...
This guy was in my tank with in 8 minutes and began eating 2 minutes later. It never hid and stays in the front. :)
(The guy said it was a Fairy Wrasse but I am not so sure)
I just came back from my very Manly, dark, cold and windy walk to the beach.
I had to wimp out as I couldn't make it all the way there. To get to the beach I have to go down a very steep hill that goes for about half a mile. I started down and I could walk between the ice on old tire tracks...
I didn't walk my normal route up many steps and hills. This snow is very slippery and tonight it is going into the twenties. My surgeon told me the only way I could hurt my new shoulder now is to fall on it. So I was careful of that.
We decided to have a New Years Eve party and are getting the guest list ready.
It seems more people want to come than we figured.
We normally have a Christmas party but we already had that last week so New Years Eve it is.
I still got it. Yesterday before we put the wreaths on the graves of Veterans we were in a bagel shop. Someone in the next booth tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around. It was a very elderly Lady. She asked if one of us "young" men could help her get to her car.
She was 94 years old and...
This morning I placed wreaths on the graves of Veterans in Calverton National Cemetery on Long Island near my home.
I went with some friends.
These are friends of my wife and mine for over 50 years. Sue is the "girl" who takes care of me when I have surgery for knees and shoulders.
I don't understand these tests that many people get from Aquabiometrics to see if they have disease organisms in the tank. If they did that test in natural seawater all those diseases would be present like they are supposed to be and have been since we kept trilobites in wine barrels. The...
So a couple of weeks ago replaced all 5 smoke detectors in my house as they were 8 years old and I figured it was time.
This morning at 3:30 I was quickly and brutally awakened by all four of them going:
BEEP...BEEP...BEEP...FIRE...FIRE...FIRE...BEEP...BEEP...FIRE...FIRE
Etc.
I get up early...
The sun doesn't rise over the sea any more. I think it is afraid of the water so it rises more to the south. Maybe it only likes ASW.
The sea was a little rough this morning and most of our beach is gone. It's a DSB anyway so it will return.
I agree, I don't eat that but she felt like cooking something. Even she can't eat it as she is allergic to dairy.
I also hope everyone had a great and healthy holiday.
I am going on my walk now to work off all that food. :confused2:
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE. :watermelon: (I know it's a watermelon. I couldn't find a turkey. ) :whistling:
My Granddaughter Greta made Macaroni and cheese using 3lbs of cheese.
Oddly enough, I was just taking a shower, and I heard that crashing sound that I fear so much. I ran out soaking wet to find her sprawled out on the kitchen floor. Of course, she felt the need t vacuum which is an hourly occurrence. The vacuum broke when she fell and the dust and dirt went all...
I went to my shoulder surgeon, and my shoulder is very painful today and yesterday. At PT the guy couldn't do much because of the pain (which I think is Sissy pain but I won't admit it)
The Dr. said the shoulder, arm and up in my neck is very inflamed so I can't use it or raise it for a few...
