i did a search and could not find the answer so here goes.
went to clean the skimmer cup and noticed my once nice ball of chaeto is looking sad
kinda mushy, still green but falling apart.
was nice and coarse and tight.
heres what i do
light, CF 6500k 12 on 12 off, opposite the tank lights...
some stuff left over from my build, swap.
a 75g size top, has 2 1-12 ho fixtures, with new lamps, one 10k one actinic, 2 opening lids on it, probably better for a freshwater set up
a black corner overflow partition, its 2 piece, can go in either corner, you'd have to drill the bottom or back...
ok, so im changing out my tank today, all is going good, im taking out the sand, and man is it beyond loaded with crap!!!!
i was trying to rinse it a bit as i was taking it out, i drained the rest of the water, prob about 10-15 gal, and this is whats on the bottom!!!
this was not a deep sand...
well, some of you know, i been pondering setting up a fuge for a bit,
so i been hunting, gathering, buying, trading etc the things i need.
i already have a 75 up and running, but no fuge, i been running hob's for 2 years now, and time
to grow up and go to a sump,
i picked up a 75 bottom...
anyone need about 4 gallons of vinegar to soak away some crusty corraline on those power heads
hit me up, come get it. in a bucket with a lid
jackson, 08527
just kicking this around,
i aquired a 75 corner drilled, left rear,
in great cond.
if someone had a decent overflow box, and return pump,
id consider an even up trade.
let me know, im in jackson
hope this doesnt upset anyone,
i have a similiar thread going, but diff topic.
im going to re drill a 75 gal, has anyone ever sucessfully, or unsucessfully
closed up or plugged 2 bottome holes in a tank?
if so, how did you do it?
im thinking a good sized piece of acrylic, i have some...
so i picked up a 75 corner drilled, and the overflow is on what would be the rear left,
and i need it on the rear right, so i was thinking of re drilling it in the other corner,
plugging the existing 2 holes, and moving the overflow box.
has anyone drilled a drilled tank?
how did you seal...
